2023 Volkswagen GTI
Mileage59,288Service Date3/31/2026Services Performed- The vehicle was brought in for a check of the check engine light (CEL). There were no issues with drivability during the test drive, and the CEL was not illuminated upon arrival. After scanning for faults, several codes related to fuel pressure were retrieved, all classified as passive or sporadic. Low side fuel pressure was confirmed at 90 psi, which is within acceptable limits. However, high side fuel pressure, as observed with the scan tool, was on the lower end of the operational range. It is suspected that the high pressure fuel pump is intermittently failing. Recommendation: replace the high pressure fuel pump to proceed, or monitor the vehicle until the high-pressure pump begins to fail more frequently. If the check engine light remains on, we can run further tests if necessary, given the intermittent nature of the issue.

Other brake vacuum pump leaking oil rec replace pump and gasket oil leak at oil pan, looks damaged rec replace oil pan Comments vehicle came into shop with no brakes, huge leak at RF corner. Found brake worn thru from contact with rim. During inspection, found hose securing bracket missing and mount holes damaged. Repaired mount holes and replaced missing parts.
