- -Could not communicate with DME. -Found 20A fuse bringing down CAN-BUS. -Replaced fuse and scanned vehicle. -Found multiple faults stored in DME. -Focused on air mixture system faults. -Smoke tested engine and found leaks at the intake tube system and valve cover breather hose. -Also found valve cover electrical connector not plugged in. -Recommending repairing leaks and re securing electrical connector first, then performing another smoke test to pinpoint any additional leaks.
- -After repairs, cleared codes and test drove. -Confirmed proper engine operation and no further codes appeared at this time. -Recommending to continue to drive and monitor. -If similar faults return, further diagnosis will be needed.
- -Multiple services due based on mileage. -Oil starting to leak from oil pan. -Rear brakes near minimum spec. -Blower motor noisy. Recommending cabin air filter replacement and inspecting for foreign debris.
