- -Inspected and found air bag warning on dash. -Scanned vehicle. -Found faults related to message error, communication disturbed, no message, front MRS. -Confirmed voltage supply from JBE to multiple restraint system module (MRS). -Removed rear center console vents to visibly inspect for possible harness or connector damage; none found. -Tested and confirmed no signal from MRS module. -Concluded most likely there is a faulty MRS module. Removal and inspection of module would be necessary to confirm. -Recommending removal of center console for further inspection and replacement of MRS module with reprogramming as next step. -Customer declined repairs at this time. German Car Service does not recommend continued use of vehicle in this condition. Airbags may not deploy in a crash.
