- -Idle Spec: 17-30 psi > Actual: 27 psi -2000 RPM Spec: 23-30 psi > Actual: 30 psi -3700 RPM Spec: 43-58 psi > Actual: 55 psi -Based on test it is determined that the mechanical oil pressure is okay and low pressure sensor needs to be replaced.
- OIL TREATMENT
- PERFORM LUBE, OIL, AND FILTER CHANGE
- PERFORM MULTIPOINT INSPECTION
- -Scanned vehicle. -Vehicle has codes stored for oil pressure switch. -EPC & oil light not flickering on arrival. -Checked oil filter, looks okay. -Need to test mechanical oil pressure and replace pressure sensor(s) as necessary then recheck.
