- -Road tested & confirmed "active steering" warning light on & power steering inoperable. -Scanned & found code S0100 – No Communication With Electric Power Steering. -Inspected & confirmed voltage supply & within spec @ 12.1v. -Confirmed fuses at power distribution box okay. -Tested diagnosis cable at connector & at EPC control unit; found okay. -Traced concern to faulty EPS unit (column assembly). -Recommend replacement as 1st step with coding & programming then recheck power steering system.
